aNextTrain is a free application developed by shin1201 for Android devices that displays countdowns of train and bus departure times. The app imports timetable data in NextTrain format, which can be downloaded via the internet or imported from an SD card. With the countdown display, users can avoid rushing to catch their ride and reduce the chances of missing it. However, users are advised to be careful not to rush too much and risk getting injured.
It is worth noting that the internet-based timetable download function may be affected by rotating power outages by Tokyo Electric Power Company.
